Here's the full story from Loralyn Johnson, The owner of the cat Phaser in this famous picture and the original photographer: That famous picture of the cat sleeping on the coat hangers is my cat Phaser and she is about 20 months old now (02/2006). She came to us as a 6 week old stray, meowing at our front door. As an animal lover, I took her in, got all her shots, had her spayed and one day she climbed into my husband\'s closet and went to sleep as you see it - in the coat hangers.
