Update: June 2007 - a brand new design is now up on the homepage, for the first time in exactly 2 years. The homepage receives a fresh new look, an easy navigation layout and "updates/popular pages" section. This is a move away from the hobby site look and more towards a bigger, mainstream site catering to wide range of users and tastes. Please see the whole Design Section of Marshu.com for more design ideas, how I built Marshu.com and other notes. Read more about Marshu.com Author here. Additionally, see visitor milestones and see how visits grew over the years. Enjoy!
While working on this website, I constantly try to change designs and update the looks. Sometimes the design works, and sometimes, well, it doesn't. Redesigns happen either over time, or almost seem to appear overnight. Here, I give you a glimpse of what this site was like years ago.

June 2005 to June 2007 redesign: brand new Website Logo with new layouts on homepage and inside page navigation
This design stayed on Marshu.com for 2 years. It is a well-thought out work and still remains on some of the inside pages in the form of the navigation bar. Most of the design remains in border colors.

May 2005 redesign: fancy scroll buttons
Well, while this was very pretty, it felt like it was not working for the site... i'm still undecided on it, but happy i'm back to a basic look. My favorite design button was 'favorites'. Dated about April to May, '05.

March 2005 redesign: Blue buttons navigation
March, 2005 through April, 05. Redesign: very good navigation, but always felt a little too cartoony to me, and I hated that the page never stretched 100% on the screen. This navigation fixes both these problems.

redesign: Grass leaves navigation
This Design was active beginning through March, 2005. It stood for about two months, I decided to remove it and go with a current theme. In my view, it was too busy and didn't make a clear distinction between site sections. Sometimes, even the best-looking redesigned navigation doesn't work.
